Pamela Soto Romero
Technical Consulting Engineer
High Touch Technical Support
Hi there, I’m Pam!
I’m part of a HTTS Cell team, where I truly enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting, doing lab recreates and digging into odd issues to address them. For me, it’s all about learning new things and improving every single day. I love making things both simple and detailed, ensuring our customers really see the value in the services and products we provide.
Outside of work, I have a "dogther" named Mandy and love spending time with my family. I’m a huge sustainability supporter and a big fan of the outdoors—you’ll often find me hiking or 4x4 off-roading. Right now, I’m working on my open water certification! Off course I am a big McLaren fan #GoNorris. When I’m staying active indoors, I enjoy doing pilates and riding my bike.
My networking journey started back in 2015 as a Cisco NetAcad graduate. That foundation encouraged me to pursue different certifications; I’ve worked hard for my CCNAs in R&S, Security, CyberOps, and DevNet, as well as my CCNP Security. Today, I am a proud CCIE Security #68051. I’m still pushing forward, too—I am currently working on my CISSP, CCNP in Cybersecurity, and my bachelor's degree in Science and Computers.
I adore Cisco's culture. It’s a place where I feel supported and allowed to empower other people, mentor, grow and learn every day.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me... and, as we say in Costa Rica: Pura Vida!
